We do one long practice from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Our philosophy is to "Work them hard and Water them hard." We also have a period from 5:30 - 6:30 where 1/2 the team goes to video and 1/2 goes in the gym/weight room (both venues have AC) for 30 minutes and then switch. We spend the final 30 minutes in conditioning/sprints/plays vs air/etc.

I'm in IL with you and it has been very hot. The humidity is the real killer. We are going from 6:30-8:30 in the morning (bright and early) and 5-7 at night. We may switch to later at night if it is another one of the 100 degree, 100% humidity days.
