Gameday is doing a segment on the Army-Navy game which reminded me of the book A Civil War by John Feinstein. Its a few years old but I just read it this year. Well worth it. Btw Paul Johnson's name is getting thrown around with all the jobs opening up in college ball. Anybody gonna hire a pure option guy in high D-1?

I don't see him being successful at a school like alabama or other big name schools because he won't get the athletes to compete in the SEC with an option attack. Kids don't want to play option football becasue it won't get them to sunday. They'd much rather go to Flordia and throw the ball all over the place.

A very good read! Love the tradition that goes with the game.

How can you say Paul Johnson would not be successful at a "Big D-I" school! He has been successful at every school he has coached. He takes the smallest and slowest kids at the D-I level and wins. In case you don't know Navy leads the NCAA (D-I) in rushing.
