Have any of you ever visited the Air Force coaching staff? If so, or not, what would be the best suggestion to contact the staff to set up a possible visitation?

Here is the information:
2169 Field House Drive U.S. Air Force Academy, CO 80840-9500 Main Phone Number: 719-333-4008
USAFA is considered an active training ground so you must contact someone there about football visitation. Also, you must have an escort anywhere you go on a military base - unless you have an active DOD ID card or an active military dependent ID card.
I hope that helps.

I've never gotten into contact with a college coach about visiting them, but for the most part are they generally receptive to having people come in and poke around? I live only about 30 mins from a Big Ten school and this topic has intrigued me about going to meet with them and pick their brain. Are most staffs open to this?

Our staff went out to Colorado Springs a few years ago. It was a great experience. The staff treats you very well and was willing to spend extra time with us after meetings to discuss their offense. The coach that I got in contact with was Tim Horton. He was the the high school coach coordinator on their staff. I don't have his # in school with me but if you go to their website you can find his phone # and email address. If he is not in charge of the high school coaches any more, he would be more than willing to get the coach that is.

I have been fortunate to visit many major coll programs and talk with their coaches. Just contact them and try and set something up. It kind of helps to talk to the coach who recruits your area they usually are your best resource. Most coll. are willing to help you out since they rely on HS coaches for their players so there is usually a good chance they will work with you on something. Now I have seen at some schools who are running the "it" system or scheme of the year that they kind of limit access due to the popularity and massive number of requests they get from coaches. Most of those places have clinics where they share alot. I know WVU use to have a clinic and about 50 coaches attended now that they are running the spread and 3-3 they get like over 800 now. Just contact the schools most are really good about it

I have found that if you will contact them by e-mail, they are very willing to work with you on a date that you could attend. Most of the university athletic websites have a staff directory on the left side of the athletic webpage. Just e-mail them. All they can do is say no, but I have not had one do that yet.

i have written many of letters to staff and now email staff. most are very receptive to the idea of you coming. heck even the right pro staffs like the colts are willing.
the people who are really willing to help most times are the d2 and d3 coaches. they know where their bread is buttered so to speak.
