What are the material items your program doesn't own that you wish you had?
On the other side, what do you feel are some of the best investments that you have made with your programs money?

Wish I had a NEW Lev Sled. Our's is dying after 6 years.
Best purchase I ever made was a Water Boy Chiller. Pack it with ice and turn the faucet on and we have non-stop water for a 2-a-day practice or a game. Fairly portable also - we'll call our opponents and make sure they have a hookup so we just bring the hoses.

[glow=red,2,300]IF (we) could have everything we wanted,I'd take;[/glow] WATERBOY CHILLER Those things are awesome! FENCED OFF PRACTICE FIELD We had the only field in the conference that wasn't fenced off, and was also used as the parking lot for every game at our stadium. Nothing like doing inside drill with beer bottles on your 30 yd line. DECENT COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM Porta Phones suck....'nuff said. [glow=red,2,300] things we DID do well (resources)[/glow] PIZZA work with the boosters to get PIZZA for the kids after every 9th - 12th game TRASH CANS probably the best used piece of equipment we've ever had. Not a bad investment for spending $60 for 5 on a Saturday afternoon. WRIST COACH The best piece of equipment used on game night.....saved us worlds of headaches once we used these program wide. DVD RECORDER Another booster investment that will pay dividends for the next 8 years. The quality of video we can utilize in scouting, teaching, and recruiting is a hundred fold better than it was with VHS DV CAMCORDER Budget only provided for DV-8 cameras, but it was good enough....again, worlds better in video reproduction and scouting.

Right now with our running game suffering b/c our back won't lean forward, a BLASTER!
I also wish our ineligibles were eligible. I believe we might have the best IE team in the great state of OHIO!

I wish our program had SPEED!
Gilman shoots with wheels are great because you can drag along in front of your sled. I also am a fan of PlayCardPro and PlayScriptPro.

I wish we had a practice field longer than 80 yds, a bigger coaches office(ours barely fits 5 coaches), someone to go scout for us on friday nights.

I wish, I wish, I wish!!!!!!! That's at the top of my material wish list, too. What I really want, though, is a G.A. to do the grunt work.

1. Revolutions for every player. 2. A scouting service for the entire district. My god some of this film is awful. I had to take a motion sickness pill to watch this week's opponents film!

A scouting software with computer set up. We have the free Proscout, but lack the computer or converter to get it to work properly.

I wish we had a practice field longer than 80 yds, a bigger coaches office(ours barely fits 5 coaches), someone to go scout for us on friday nights. Sounds like we have some of the same problems. I wish ours was longer than 80 and wider than 40. And I wish our coaches office could fit more than two coaches. We do nothing in our office we have to go to a teacher's room if we are going to do anything productive. Also, a locker room with big lockers and space. We can barely fit our team in the room and most of the kids have to take their equipment home every night. Therefore, we have about 10 kids every day who forget something for practice.

My grandma's answer to "I wish".........hold out your hands....spit in one and hold your wish in the other......What do you have more of? j/k
I wish we hand some more talent(warm bodies would be good) coming through the ranks.....3 Sophs and 8 freshmen out this fall.

Anybody who has ever played the game before is always useful, a pitch which isn't in a public park, and doubling up as a rugby pitch, as this would save walking the pitch for beer cans and dog doo before home games, pants that were the same colour for every player! any kind of funding from either of the two universities which make up our team, and the local council who mark out our pitch actually understanding the game a little or allowing us to help them mark it correctly!!!
oh and a full 100yard pitch! not the 90 we have because its a rugby pitch!

blue collar lunch pail kids from good homes, who are hardworking, smart and dependable.
if you this, all the other gadgets in the world are useless.

All of the gadgets listed above are great but I would sttle for a lockerroom that has heat/air (lIVE IN nORTHERN mICHIGAN AND ITS COLD ALREADY) doesn't leak when it rains, has running water and a toilet, showers would be nice too. While I'm at it I would like a field that is not pitted up by the soccor team which uses the game field for their game and practice field.

Hey if you are going to dream, dream big. If I could have one thing it would be a team plane, so we don’t have to sit on a bus or van for the 10 hour drives.

We bought the HI-Pod system this season. We are a small school (3A) in Alabama and used our gold card money to make the first payment. If you have all the other things you need (sleds, weights, etc.) this is an outstanding tool. The kids get such a better idea of the things we are telling them they are doing right and wrong from this angle. THe camera is HIGH QUALITY. I would definitely recommend it to others. (No, I dont work for HI-Pod

New shoulder pads - something the program really needs. New sled - Constanly working on it, needs to be replaced. Bags and shields - worn out, need replacing Now for the good stuff....hehe FIELD TURF!!! - No more dead, ugly, gopher hole filled field. Indoor practice field - Kind of like Southlake Carroll's. New looker room/field house - coaches offices, film room , and all the good stuff.
