I am looking for a plastic tape that simulates the line of scrimmage. I think it is a good tool to help your lineman get to the right spot. I must be googling the wrong words, but does anyone know what I am talking about and where I might be able to pick one up. Also thanks for all that posted in regards to the compression suits.

We went to our local fire department and asked them if they had any old hose we could use and spray painted the markings on the hose.
We like to use the hose for 7 on 7 and backfield mesh drills to help with proper landmarks.

I would go with the same method as coachjd. Our local fire station was more than willing to donate old hose.

Also, if you use splits that aren't the standard, get one with movable markers. If you get firehose, it won't matter.

I have also used the fire hoses, heavy boogers though, but worked great.

I dunno...we did the fire department and they were a pain in the butt to lug around and never did lie on the ground right. The paint faded pretty fast. And kids could twist their ankle on it if they stepped on it funny. Plus they are just not thick enough.
Spend the money for a good LOS marker. They are used so much it is not worth saving the bucks for it. We build a lot of things instead of buying them but that is one I am glad we spent the money on!!!
