What are some of your favorite "trick plays"? How do you run them & how successful have they been for you? C'mon let's hear it!

Hook and ladder out of 2x2, hit it every year 3 times or so for big plays.

we run the fly as our base and have had some pretty good success running a fly reverse, z receiver goes in his usual motion and gets the ball like usual, then x receiver will run towards him and get the handoff from the z

Let me give you guys one that didn't work (for us anyway). We watched Ole Miss (I think) run this last season.
Two TEs, QB under center. The OL gets zero splits and two RB's get in tight up-back positions. The other RB is at about 5-6 yards deep.
---oooxooo---- -----ooo------- --------------- ------o--------
The QB reverses out (ultimately going right) and slips the ball between the right up-back's legs into his reaching back hands (bent over and squatted down LOW). After that he continues to the right and executes a double option fake with the deep back. The OL makes a wall to hide and protect the ball carrier. The left up-back leads the way for the ball carrier to go tight around the left end. (If this is still confusing, PM me and I'll draw it up and scan it for you)
It scored a huge TD for Ole Miss, not so much for us. We got maybe 2 yards and it looked horrible. Lesson learned, don't run it with a team who refuses to make good fakes.

coachmoore - we saw Ole Miss use that same play and we use it as our fake punt. Personal protector goes up to the center every time - calls out "blocking" assignments and then retreats to his regular position. On the fake, he's calling out the signals and gives a goose to the center. On the snap he turns left and gives the ball to the upback who takes off to the right and gives the ball (between the legs) to right upback. Hopefully the defense is following the "flow" and the upback with the ball casually goes to the left behind his blockers. Used it twice last year - one 2 yard loss, one big play to set up a TD.

Bounce Pass Double pass. QB takes the snap and thows a bounce pass to the Z receiver who is off the line, he catches the ball on the bounce and starts yelling at the QB and acting like it is a bad pass, everyone stops, except for the TE from the opposite side. He is running a post.
When in the clear, the Z reciever simply goes from being mad and having his hands up in the air to gripping the football and throwing a pass to the TE.
We ran it at Boise State's Football camp in front of the whole camp. It was awesome.

Thanks for the clarification, I really wish that I could have found film of the play to study it more. I just had to go on memory.

The trick is to only tell Z that it's a fake so that he keeps the ball -- everyone else thinks it's the reverse and runs it that way. Every single time you run the fake reverse, the defense will convince itself even harder that THIS time X gets the ball...

Run the sprint out, pass back to the tackle ( lateral) have the tackle chuck it down field. Sprint right and your Tackle throws a half @$$ block on the end and drifts back behind the QB. QB turns and throws it back to him. Tackle then throws it to a WR or back streaking down field.

coach orr.... not sure what you meant by "bounce pass". could you explain? A "bounce pass". How in the world do you get a football to take that bounce consistently?

practice it, i used to always see before NFL games Qbs messing around and throwing the ball off the ground straight back to themselves, so last year during every one of the kids water breaks i would practice throwing the ball against the ground and gettin git to come right back ot me and after a lil while i got really good at it.

it is easier than you think. Just throw it into the dirt about three quarters of the way to the receiver and it bounces right up into his hands. Put the point of the ball inot the dirt.
