I would go only to hear Coach Vermeil. The other high school coaches are really good coaches, but I can hear them anytime at the State Association Clinic. As far as the head coach goes, this guy has really had problems keeping his staff together and I just hear way too many bad things about him and rumor is that this will be his last year anyhow. I guess if I can't say anything good about him, I would rather not continue.
But Vermeil is worth the price of admission, I have heard him before and he is tremendous.

I was planning to go, but it is the same weekend as 3A state powerlifting, and that is where I will be.

Superpower,
Barta is going to be a guest speaker. Have you ever been at a clinic where he was guest speaker? What topic does he cover??

I heard him speak at the Coaches Association Clinic in Wichita a couple of years ago. He spoke about things that they do in their program to be successful. No Xs and Os, but lots of good program building ideas.

I anyone going to this who will post notes later? I am a long time admirer of Coach Barta and Coach Vermeil, but living in Michigan I can not afford to attend.

Coach Barta will be talking about inside/outside belly!!! I wish I could be there. I hope somebody tapes this lecture.

Man if Roger is going to be talking about that stuff then it would be very tempting to go. I have connection to get everything, (his total offense), but I don't want to abuse the situation really.
