We are in the process of purchasing a new editing software. Those of you that have used these, which do you prefer and why? If you used one and then switched, why did youmake the switchand so on. I really value your opinions and look forward to what you have to say.

DSV is the Cadillac.
That's the one you should go with.

Coach,
I would take a look at Proscout Video. The software is capable of doing all that DSV, CoachComm, LRS, Web can do minus a few bell and whistles that you usually don't have time to get to. Can't beat the price. Just my opinion but I would give them a look.

I agree, Proscout is really nice (especially the new upgrades) and is truely free.

I recently purchased GamerSE by LRS Sports. I used an older version when I was coaching college ball and loved the older one. I have only put in 1 game from last year and I am blown away already. My biggest must have feature was capture film in the actual editing program. hands down, the best in my opinion.
In same breath I know everyone has a different budget(my own pocket in my case) and different wants and needs. No matter what software you go with, you are making the right choice to get any type of editing software
