We cant get water or be on the field unless the refs say its alright. I hate taking a knee, there have been times where there were multiple knees taken in a series.

I can't stand and don't understand taking a knee for a obvious non-serious injury. Some of our players do some of them don't. It drives me crazy when some of the kids are screaming to take a knee when I am trying to talk with players.

I get yelled at quite often for not taking a knee for injuries. Hell, my admin even got emails from some butthurt parents of injured opponents because we didn't take a knee. The only time we take a knee is if the injury is taking an extended period of time. We're the same way. We pull the kids to the sideline, get them some water and talk about the game (treat it like a timeout). We've been referred to as "classless" for doing this but we've had kids tighten and cramp up from kneeling.
