Do you make the players wear the same gear to practice in the off-season and summer?
If so, how do they get the gear? Do you pay for it? Do they pay for it?
If so, how many sets do they get?

What do you mean by gear? Are you talking about equipment?

What do you mean by gear? Are you talking about equipment? I think he means school provided work out gear with a school logo on it (ie spirit packs). For me, in the summer it can be hodge podge as long as it is athletic apparel. Once school starts it is either spirit pack, or practice jersey (pending the day)

If you're talking about work out gear, we do not provide any during the off-season or summer. Obviously they have the option of buying some at the beginning of the season, but we do not require them to wear anything specific.

This has been the bane of my existence in the off-season. You can’t force kids to buy something in California and we don’t have the money to issue everyone something. Some kids will buy it and others won’t and then you end up looking like crap. I never understand how some programs you see in the summer are able to all be decked out in the latest under armor gear.

I've never really understood what the heck it matters what kids wear to lift weights, but some people's need to run other people's lives will never cease to amaze me.

Never really cared as long as they’re there.

We get them a shirt and shorts for outings like 7 v 7. Everything else we don't care.
