How do you guys clean your equipment in the offseason in preparation for the upcoming season? Specifically in years when you don't send off equipment for reconditioning.

What equipment are you talking about? Helmets and shoulder pads.

We really didn't clean them at all during the off-season.
But now that I think about it, we were trying to replace most of our shoulder pads because they were old, so I guess we really didn't have that a lot left over after each season.

Can’t say I’ve ever spent a lot of time cleaning.

we send them out every year. If for some reason they were not sent out that means they were not used the year previously, ergo, should be good to go.

We have to send our stuff out because we have no real space to store any of our equipment. So we send out the stuff that needs cleaned/reconditioned, as well as our game stuff that has been worn.
