Anyone have any knowledge of these? www.defendyourhead.com/ My AD was asking about them, first I had seen them. I've seen programs that use Guardian Caps (obviously just in practice). We were wondering, if substantiated as beneficial, would these even be legal to wear in games?

They'd likely be legal, but they'd also likely void any liability insurance that the helmet manufacturer provides. Better check into that before you use them.

i saw a kid once (on film... played against a team we were prepping for)
he played a game with the guardian cap on
they had green helmets... his was black and it made his head look like a gigantic bobble head you just saw this massive black Circle running around the field
i had to ask our opponent before our game... what the heck was on that kid's head? on film?! he played with a guardian cap, no one asked him to take it off

I have been meaning to ask their coach for some statistics about it...

Interesting, thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure what the cost is, I'd want to see some conclusive evidence that they are effective and most importantly not somehow counter productive before I'd feel comfortable putting them on helmets.

unless it has changed, I know the helmet companies will void any insurance for ANY modifications to their helmets, which includes caps, every year this conversation pops up, look it up, but it is the same thing, unless you and your school is money bags, because when something happens they are going to go after you, the school and the helmet company, the helmet company will have a out because you put a cap on, so now it comes down to you and the school, why even think about it
