I have about a 45 minute drive to work everyday and really like to be useful with my time in the car. What are some of you guys favorite coaching podcasts?

Coach and Coordinator from USA football is the first one I can think of.
I just got an Audible account recently and is listening to audio books on my commute, which is really nice and does not cost a fortune.

What are some of you guys favorite coaching podcasts? - Football Coaching Podcast (Joe Daniel) - Coach & Coordinator (but don’t listen to too many in a row) - Run The Power - Talking Football with Ron McKie - Pro Style Spread Offense - Chris Fore will have a podcast soon I can’t wait to hear

I listen to The Coach and Coordinator one as well as Focus 3.
Attack Each Day which is Jim and Jack Harbaugh is entertaining. It really just amounts to Jim Harbaugh, his dad, and 1-2 guests per show talking about stuff.

I used to listen to the Coach and Coordinator pod, but it gets pretty stale. When it was the old format (1 hour or whatever) it used to get into some details about football and you could pick up some decent stuff. The shorter format is basically "how did you get involved in coaching" ... talk about "culture" ... generic overview of some system.... a little more culture ... talk one more time about culture ... shows over. Maybe a segment of USA football talking points. Makes every episode more or less identical.

Doesn’t really feel “real” to me. It feels like the coaches he interviews are just sorta giving the generic company line

I will only listen to the podcast if there is someone I really want to hear like John Strollo, Scott Peters, or Jim McNally etc

Run the Power is my favorite. It is updated at least once a week, if not more, and they have a wide variety of guests/topics. Leans a little more to the offensive side (see the title of the podcast) but they talk about a variety of schemes. I do like that they start and end each show the same but the conversations are much different between each segment. Each episode is about an hour, so it is a perfect listen to/from school or mowing the lawn.

That dude makes me want to punch hard stuff. I listen to Joe Rogan's podcast selectively. I am not really that interested in the entertainment installments, but he has some performance and health specialists that are interesting. Recently Dr. Matthew Walker was on and made some pretty bold statements about the importance of sleep and the effects it has on mental and physical performance. Rogan's podcast is also very long, I would guess the most entertaining parts could be found clipped out on youtube. I have listened to Joe Daniels podcast and enjoy it, but there are certain times in my life when I have simply had enough football and want to take my mind down a different path for a bit.

Not football related but I like the Barbell Medicine podcast, though I normally just tune in via youtube when I put the little one to sleep.

Been on a Run the Power kick lately. The scheme ones are good, but the ones where it's somebody they know and they're just telling stories or that go behind the curtains at college/pro programs are great listens.
Iron Game Chalk Talk has some good stuff, he just shut it down but the archives are still there.

My vote is Jocko too....
Use to listen to Coach and Coordinator, but he should cut back and do quality over quantity.

Use to listen to Coach and Coordinator, but he should cut back and do quality over quantity. Agreed. I’d rather have Keith come out with one podcast every 1-2 weeks that is detailed and original than what he has now. I also wish he did less interviews sometimes, because I know he’s a smart guy and I’d love to hear some of his own thoughts that AREN’T just about culture, player safety, etc (which are all obviously important)

I have a notebook of notes from the first ones.. now 95% I can just listen to and not take notes.
