Guys we play on friday nights at 7pm, the kids get out of school at 2pm. I am looking to show some good motivational movies before each game. Right now I am thinking Any Given Sunday, Remeber the Titans, Friday Night lights, and then i draw a blank. Let me know what you guys do leading up to pre game and if movies are involved or not.

Though not a football movie I have always liked Rocky, or Rocky II, or Rocky IV pregame. Hard to beat Rocky for inspiration IMO. Just don't watch Rocky V.

We dont have as much time as you seem to do before the games... something that I like that we do is we have a regimented pregame routine.
The kids get out of school they head right down to the locker room. We will have TVs out with the opponents game film running. They usually sit and watch it, go over scouting reports, put pads in pants that kind of stuff. They do that usually for about 30min or so. The head coach comes in and talks for acouple minutes then we head up and eat pregame meal. Once pregame meal is over we have a tape/rest session. If you need to go get taped you do that, we open the wreslting (mat) room and the weightroom and the kids will lay down in there and the locker room. We let them do that for about 45 min or so, have short position meetings, then OFF/DEF meetings. Then we have a quick team meeting then get on the bus to the stadium.
The best part for me as a coach, and an ex player at that school is that everyone knows what were going to do. Everyone knows what time we meet, what time we get taped, what time we have meetings. So everyone is in a state on comfort and we try and limit the stress.

Show the first Arturro Gatti-Mickey Ward fight. (round 9 was the best boxing round ever) So after seeing that, I looked it up, and -- man oh man! That was freakin' AWESOME! The ref did a good job, too -- I might've called the fight at about 40 seconds into the round, when Gatti was stumbling around the ring making no effort to protect himself and just getting pummeled by Ward. But BOY, that would've been a mistake. For the curious: EDIT: Or, alternatively, the YouTube link might decide that working is for chumps. In that case, try this out:

I've used this fight as motivation before. Once every couple years, to kids that have never seen it. Turns them into a bunch of animals!

Gridiron Gang Power, Passion, and Glory Facing the Giants
And even though it isn't a football movie, Men of Honor is very inspirational.
We also like to show highlight films from our previous seasons or from dominant DW teams.
