I've been given a gift of $500.00 with some terms.
1) It must be spent by Dec. 31, 2006 2) Must be 1 or 2 items 3) Can't be one nickel over $500.00 (some tax thing)
How can I best use this for my team?

Get another donation for $250 and get a Waterboy Chiller. It will be the best money you ever spent.
Otherwise, buy your assistants some nice coaching gear.

Purchase spirit packs (t's and shorts ) for the off -season there really inexpensive and with the left over money, you could buy some new footballs.

This is what we're getting this off season. It'll simulatiously make 5 copies of your complete game in a couple of minutes. On game night all the coaches go home with a copy of the game. DVD Duplicator

Lap Dances for the staff - if you go somewhere real nice you'll spend that $500! In a more political correct way - how about a mini DV camera, or maybe the hotel fees for the upcoming clinics for you & your staff.

Buy the biggest Flat Screen HD TV that you can , then raffle it off at $20 per ticket. Then buy whatever you need.

But please don't get a Hi8 camcorder (or Digital8). Hi8 needs a converter to go into the digital format. You can get an industry standard Mini-DV one for about the same- We got this one 2 years ago for $250 and have had no problems. www4.shopping.com/xPO-JVC-GRD290-DV-Camcorder

i would get he wives of each of my assistants a gift card for putting up with their husbands being gone so much. a happy wife makes for a happy coach, which make for a better program or I would take all the assistants out to dinner and their wives or girlfriends. a little goes a long way.
