Are colleges allowed to have team camps anymore? I have been looking non-stop for schools that hold team camps, and all I can find are the single day "prospect camps". Did the NCAA pass another law preventing colleges from having team camps? And if not can somebody organize a state by state listing of colleges that offer team camps?
My favorite memories of high school football were from out 4-5 days we spent at the Fresno State and Oregon Ducks Team camps. We got to scrimmage teams that were super talented from other states. It developed our team chemistry going into the summer. Why are these disappearing?

I joined a program last year that has gone to a team camp in late July for almost 15 years and our HC is so protective about it that they would do their best to not let anyone else know we go to it. He loosened up last year and posted a photo on our social media page, but he values it that much that we don't talk much about it privately, for multiple reasons.
I'm not sure if there are restrictions, but the one we go to is instrumental in getting us ready for the season. I don't see many advertised here in Pennsylvania, so I don't know if there are restrictions or what they are. Would be curious to know as well.

There aren't as many as there once were, but they are still around.

Team camps,as in meaning your H.S. team going to a college campus and other H.S. teams being present?
Those have to be cultivated via relationships, i.e. the header at one school is taking his guys to "___ Univ" on July 8th-12th and a different header is going to "___ Univ" on July 9th-13th.
They just happen to be using the facilities and they overlap with someone else using the facilities, so hey, why don't we run a couple of drills together or the dreaded 7v7.
This arrangement is made via phone, it is not advertised on the college's website. The one we go to, seems like there is a waiting list, if someone dropped off, another school would take their place and the team that dropped off would need to find another place to go if they were going to "camp"
7v7 camps are taking over the advertised "team camps" Hate it...o-line coach here, useless running around...blech.

Not sure why D1s don’t have em but many DII and DIII schools do. Fully advertised on their websites.

No, contact team camps have been banned since the rule change a few years ago... even after we get to wear gear in late July
