getting out of houston is a cluster
my parents live on the northwest side of houston.
It has taken them 7 hours to get to Katy. All the exits on the way out of town are blocked off by cops. So there are two extra lanes people could be using. They said no one is going east into town. So there are four other lanes on the other side of the hiway for people to get out of town. My dad was a professioanl estimator for a long long time and estimated it would take about 20 hours to get from the loop to columbus.
What a cluster. Great planning Houston. Way to make it safe for the people trying to get the heck out.
