Several years ago I ran across a Hugh Freeze clinic talk in which he stated that each of his 3 units on his team had a mission statement. The only one he stated in that y’all was his offensive unit. It was: “To be a fundamentally efficient scoring machine”
I love this and was curious if anyone else knew what the other 2 were. Does anyone else do something similar and wouldn’t mind sharing?

Running game lends excitement to what would otherwise be a dull affair.
Passing lends dignity to what would otherwise be a vulgar, disgusting, brawl.
Defense doesn't lend anything...it smashes hell out of everything.

Craig Howard (RIP) at Southern Oregon University (and Tim Tebow's HS coach) used to say they have one sentence philosophies for each unit: Defense--"We are an attacking, swarming defense that gang tackles and makes big plays." Offense--"We are a spread, no huddle offense that plays at a ludicrous speed and with pinpoint precision." Special Teams--"ATT=EKG: Attitude, technique and time = excellent kicking game."

Just the type of thing I was looking for thank you!
