I can't tell if you're joking or not. That's apparent. If you're fighting for a playoff spot, win the last game and you're in. When you're in the playoffs, win the last game and you're the champion. Tons of teams are eliminated from the playoffs earlier than their last game, then win their last game. Every year, about half of the non-playoff teams in our state win their last game.

Years ago I was part of a program where the kids came up with the slogan, "No one is coming to save you." This was after there had been a parade of 1 and done head coaches for 3 years before they brought the original guy back in (dumpster fire of a school and administration). The kids made the shirts on their own and they actually made the playoffs that year. It was fun to watch.
A couple years ago a program in our area came out with the slogan "Stronger Together" and had a shipload of shirts, stickers and banners made. Then only a few weeks later Hillary Clinton came out with that exact slogan. The school was a small private school that was ultra-conservative and the uproar over it was hilarious. The school didn't want to pay for new merchandise and nobody would wear the shirts or use the decals. When other teams would visit the school and see the giant "stronger together" banner hanging on the weight room and on the football field they would say stuff like, "We're playing at Hillary Clinton Stadium" and a bunch of other stuff just to piss off the kids, parents and coaches. It lasted a few weeks and then everything mysteriously disappeared.

Do your thing though...

I won my last game last year to go 1-6.
Edit: I also realize it says 'The' last game, not 'Your' last game.

Guys, I'm sorry I ever made the comment about previous success about the school I took over this summer. I do understand what the message is and didn't intend for it to turn this direction. Great slogan for a perennial play-off team, my team is not there yet, but we did make the play-offs this year and were just happy to be there. Hopefully we can turn that into a streak going into next year.
