What are some ways you guys bribe some managers to come out if you don’t have enough for daily and game day duties?

Good luck. We haven’t had one in years.

There have been years when we have had no managers. This past year we had two managers for practice, and they should be back next year. We stress to players that managers are teammates; they should be treated with the same respect. Managers also receive everything the players receive(from team t-shirts to championship rings). Injured players are the other managers for practice, but everyone is responsible for getting gear on/off the field. Coaches are assigned to field set-up and field clean-up. One coach is responsible for getting water. Our game-day managers(in addition to the regular 2) are the sophomores who do not dress and frosh players. We do not use injured upperclassmen, but these guys often jump in and help. The frosh wear their game jerseys to the game and eat with the varsity at the pregame meal. Each member of this group has a pre, post, and in-game job. One coach is assigned to supervise these guys before/after games. We try to rotate which frosh we use.
