Both
I do not give a playbook unles a kid asks, out of the 20 I gave out this year, it was 50/50 on kids wanting paper or CD.

We don't use a playbook at all, but we rep things up a lot and we don't add a bunch of plays...we keep it basic.

We post our pages from our playbook on an inclosed bulletin board in the locker room. If a player wants a copy of a certian part, like WR wanting passing plays etc., then they copy it into their own notebook. It is my opinion that if they invest the time to copy it, then at least they have read it once and will take better care of it.
