Those of you coaches who are also teachers, what kind of jobs do you have during the summer if any at all? Obviously getting prepared for the upcoming season is a job, but what do you do to make some extra money until the next year starts?

I'm landscaping this summer. I like mindless work after a year of teaching. Anything that I can work outside and in silence for hours at a time is good; working with a crew of immigrants when my espanol is rusty fit the mold this summer.

When I was young and single, I spent summers working in a shake mill (cedar roofing shakes). Hard work, good money, and a constant reminder of why I went to college and became a teacher.
