School size about 1000
We have football classes, baseball classes, regular classes, and a girls class. It is not a pre req to play but heavily suggested. We usually get all of our players in it. And we pretty much control who we want in and out of the football class.

School size 900.
Co-ed
Class sizes are too big but kids get out of it what they put into it. Not a prerequisite but strongly encouraged.

Just 1 class of it offered a day at the smaller schools?
Every hour at large?
Good answers
And how many coaches are in there, specifically in the co-ed

For us there are 3 sections each semester (so 6 classes all year). The classes are offered at various periods throughout the school day (we have 4 periods each semester).
There is 1 teacher in the class. Class sizes range from 15 students to 30 students.

Enrollment: 1500 Football lifting: we have frosh, JV, V classes Weight training: up to 50 kids, 4 sections, coed but probably 60/40-65/35 male/female
All weightlifting but frosh FB has a PE 1 (frosh PE) pre-req. Frosh FB is a special deal that we sold on preparing our guys for a collision sport, otherwise there wouldn’t be weight training for them until soph year.

Anyone start in an in school lifting program? Any resistance? Currently we have PE classes that are mandatory for freshmen and sophomores. My thoughts are to use the mandatory classes to get all students to think weight lifting and fitness are a daily thing...which would help improve all our athletics. Also, to have weightlifting available for grades 11 and 12

1 period per day. Only football players (usually). We rarely have non-football players sign up....basketball state.
