Trying to get an idea of some things you like to do for your pregame (one the field) once team goes on field. We use to send kickers, QBs ,& receivers & backs out first then 10 min later lineman come out. We stretch as a team, a quick form tackle & then time for national anthem and play.
Anything you guys do or have seen done that you like regarding organizing pregame?

We get out @ 10-15 minutes before kick off, run 6-8 plays and play. I've got most kids on the field all the time and can't afford to wipe them out with a long warm-up plus the "Hay is in the Barn" already.

We do the whole routine.
Specialists out, then everybody for team stretch, Indy O, Indy D, team, and then punt into the locker room.
I'd much rather stretch, run a few plays, and kick some ass.

We never stretch. Haven't in 10 years. I guess something needs to be proven to me to go with it. I guess I'm faithless.

We did 15 minutes Specialties (Kick, Punt, Pass - no OL unless they were Specialists).
Then 25-30 minutes (depending on numbers) with everybody:
Warmup 5-7 minutes
Individual Defense 3-5 mins
Individual Offense 3-5 mins
H20
Team - 1st Offense 10 plays, 2s 10 plays (if we had enough bodies we would go against a defense at "Thud" tempo, otherwise vs. Air)
Punt
FG and In
Every coach says the worst part of Game Day is waiting for Kick off.
School got out around 2:30, Kick off was at 7.
Pre-Game meal takes less than a half hour. Can't use up four hours with film, meetings, tape-dress.
So might as well go out and do something instead of sitting around worrying and kids playing with their phones.

I don't let the kids even show up at school until an hour before kick off. When we are away we plan on getting to the school an hour before kick off. We actually were late 3 times on away 2 hour rides. Got there with 25 minutes before kick off. Won 2 and almost won the 3rd. Maybe none of this matters.

Pregame is nothing more than getting the kids into a routine and getting them comfortable. We're on the field 6:40-7:10 (7:30 kickoff)
