I have a parent who wants to purchase something "nice" for all of our players at the banquet. She mentioned "medals, like in the Olympics." I am thinking something else... The amount she wants to give to do so equals about $4-5 / player. Anyone have any ideas?

I wouldn't go medals, be careful on letting parents getting stuff for the team like this.

I'd stay away from this. Suggest she take it up with the boosters.

How about a picture of your team in an inexpensive frame for each kid?

We've done backpacks, etc. Something usable and tangible.
Hell to the no with medals, dog tags, anything of that sort.

She sounds like the little league mom that wants to make sure her kid gets an award.
