Grossman isn't playing badly today...just not sure if he is capable of doing anything to win close games. Will be interesting to see what happens if the Bears get the ball in OT.
Hasselbeck was bad today...one of his worst performances in a long time.

i don't think the bears are doing a good job on 1st down in the second half either by play call or execution. they have constantly been 2nd and long and then 3rd and long.

'Hawks playcalling was terrible, especially on 3rd and short...no underneath routes, everyone going deep, no one coming back to the ball when Hasselbeck was under pressure.
Have to give it to Rex...that was a big-time throw to get the Bears into FG position!

he made a couple of great plays today, but i think that turner kept putting him in some tuff spots with the playcalling on first down

it would have been interesting to see what would've happened if the bears lost. the bears' WR's dropped some balls in key situations. would people have blamed rex or the WR's? granted most of the balls were on the wrong shoulder, but if it hits you in the hands, you should catch it.

I really don't see Chicago getting past New Orleans.
when you take away the slop bombs to Berrian, he doesn't have much else.
I am still puzzled at the complete lack of imagination in using Benson & Jones......which is one of the reason I love what the Saints do. Payton is a coach's coach on offense.

I disagree somewhat with the "slop bombs" comment. The first TD to Berrian was an on the money throw. In fact, it would of been hard to make a better throw than where it hit him, in my opinion. I believe they can and will beat the Saints, because I am a Bears fan and that is the point of being a fan. Payton is creative and his offense is fun to watch. Duece scares me more than anyone though because the Bears have the speed to help contain bush, but Alexander was gashing them at times.

Grossman made some plays when he had to. I would still take Drew Brees in a Bears uniform though. I think if the Bears Tommie Harris was healthy they would win easily.

My buddy is a HUGE Bears fan, and he said hte same thing. If Harris was healthy the Bears would be killing kids.

I disagree about Tommie Harris...the guy tore the place up the first 5-6 games of the season but really didn't do a thing after the bye week...he was pretty ineffective the six weeks or so leading up to the injury. I don't think the Bears are missing Tommie at all. Tank Johnson looked really good today.

I can't say that I noticed enough in the latter half of the Bears' season to prop up or stomp on Harris, but Tank Johnson had a heck of a game today. It didn't look like the Bears needed any extra help up front in today's game.
