What kind of info do you guys put into your scouting reports besides the requisite roster, depth chart and plays?

How many of you make your scouting reports out for YOU versus making them out for your players? My point is this: How much information can you realistically expect the players to acutally learn and then apply come game time?
I frequently see, and have worked with, coaches who write up every formation, every play, every possible (and sometimes impossible) combination of factors that might happen versus an opponent. I also frequently see those same type of scouting reports laying on the locker room floor, unread by the players.
We will go over with our players - through meeting, video, and on field - the main points of our opponent's personnel, schemes, and any tendancies we as coaches may have picked up. We also hand out this summarized info on one page, printed on both sides. The kids actually read them and refer to them during the week leading up to the game. It works for us. Just curious.

Our (defensive) scouting reports contain;
Their depth chart (and explain the strengths of each of those players - where they are a threat) Their base plays & formations
On some other opponents (that we have more info on) we give the host of formations, but I imagine most of that would line their bird cages with.

We don't give everybody a packet with everything in it; I guess we work on a "need to know" basis. We post on the team bulletinboard the opponent's personnel (where they play, as well as height and weight). The offensive line will get a handout with the defense(s) we expect to see and the blocking schemes for our base plays. The defense might get a handout with the base formations and the one or two key plays run from each formation. We do spend a lot of time with the defense wathing film and going over formation and play recognition.
