I have a player that got injured in the first drive of the third game. He was averaging 180 yards rushing. He is 5'8" 207 and a beast. Bama coaches clocked him at 4.41 at their camp a year ago. Benches 340, squats 535, cleans 280, deadlift 575 (I stopped him from doing more). He came to our school last year because he was Brian Robinson's backup. Brian was a four star RB who is a freshman at Bama. He had a good junior year, but has gained 17 pounds and increased his bench 70 pounds, clean 50, and squat 80 since he has been with us one year. In short, he is a different human this year. Of course I am biased, but I am pretty positive he is a college running back. Would be a great fit for a B-back (FB) in a Georgia Tech type of offense or a downhill spread offense. Anyways, he had some interest after his junior year, but like I said, he is a different ball player this year. But he has only played TWO games!! Plus a Spring game and jamboree. He had surgery to repair a broken tibia and ligament damage two Saturdays ago. I need some help getting him recruited. I need any connections you have and I am realistic. Juco could be great considering the lack of film. A 13th year prep school could actually be his best bet. I know what D1 players look like and move like. I have coached 13 of them and have 4 starting in d1 right now. Take a look at his highlights from 4 games. Honestly it about two games as he barely played in three of them. www.hudl.com/v/27wivWThanks for any help. He is a great kid.

Send his film to your coaching contacts where you have kids currently and tell them the situation. His height may be a turn off for a few schools as they are caught up on 5-11 or taller. I would also send the film to FCS programs and top D2's as well. He is a powerful back with good vision and hips.
