I know this is not a football question, but this is the only message board I really post on and I am hoping someone has the answer to this question (I also tried goggling it and could not find the answer) My review mirror on my passenger side door was broken. I was wondering if it is illegal to drive with this broken, or if I could not fix it and still drive it. I was wondering due to the fact the car I have is an older car and I don’t want to fix it unless I have to.

if you drive a car on a football field im pretty certain youll get a flag, broken mirror or not. seriously though, pretty much every football coach i know has something seriously wrong with his car and no time to fix it.

Yeah like I said I know this was not football related, but I was just wondering if it was legal or not. Sorry about being totally off topic but like I said this is the only board I really post on.

I think that you only need the mirror on the driver's side.

Coach, if you have vehicle inspections/stickers in your state, you might ask them? Otherwise you should be good for one warning anyhow if you get stopped. Use the favorite mechanic excuse of "They didn't have the part in stock but I'm ordering it, should be here in a couple days" This usually works on everything from the state patrol to angry customers, at least once anyhow lol. But if you drive in heavy, high speed, lane changing traffic you should fix it asap for your own safety.( los- better mechanic than football coach)
