Rothlisberger has just been BRUTAL with those 3 pics! Cardinal rule for QB's - you don't have to WIN the game but you're NOT supposed to lose it! Hoping for a BIG comeback in the 2nd half.

This season he actually has like the 3rd highest QB rating in the league. I just think he knows his team is outmanned and is trying to force some things.
Jax is the most solid up front on both sides of the ball in the entire NFL.

Now thats what I'm talking about! Great drive, great decisions (one close call!). Heath Miller is a stud! and what a great catch by Hines Ward - too bad about the hold. C'mon Steelers!

Jax got screwed bigtime on that call. Hines had a hold of that facemask.

How could they not call a holding penalty on the 4th and 2 play. The whole side of the line should have been penalized.

Im a offensive coach and all but I loved watching the defense in this game. -Reggie Nelson, a rookie from FL, was in Hines Ward's face all-day and he refused to be bullied by him. Infact Reggie almost made Hines cry after he twisted his knee on a goalline play. -Derek Landry, the short, pudgy kid from ND did a great job replacing Pro Bowler John Henderson. And he showed some great hands. -Lamar Woodley, this kid can really play the pass-rushing OLB opposite James Harrison. -Sammy Knight, the old man can still run. -Overall, the Steelers defense did a great job of not being physically dominated like they were during the first meeting. I dont remember hearing about Maurice Jones-Drew or Fred Taylor after halftime.

Jax got screwed bigtime on that call. Hines had a hold of that facemask. Makes me think of one of those "Would you cheat to win?" kind of threads. In some cases, the answer is "Yes". Except that they lost.

Interesting note, Derek Landry and Maurice Drew played high school ball together at De La Salle.

The Jags are as big as big of a football team as there is. Are they good enough to push the Pats around in the cold and wet winter of New England?

Love the style of play that the Jags and Titans bring. I am going to really guess and say that the Titans beat the Chargers today...Fisher is a darn good coach who might be a hall of famer some day. Seems to me that hes wildly underrated. I think the Pats are fantastic but I wont say that its a done deal. Its why they play the game right? In the NFC before TO was injured I really liked the Cowboys chances...without TO I am not so sure. Packers???

Still going for 2 points after the holding penalty, with 10 minutes left in the game? That proved to be costly.

Did it really cost them? the jags could have punched in a TD at the end had they wanted to but chose to use as much clock and kick the FG.

Yes, the Jags would have played for the touchdown because the field goal would only have tied it. Could have forced a turnover on one of those plays. I think it makes a huge difference.
