Thinking about stuff for next year. Trying to get some ideas for things to ask the booster club for.
Any ideas will be useful. Equipment, technology, etc.
TIA

Going into a new school my wish list would start here......
I would look at weight room first
Benches, bars, power racks, dumbells, jump boxes
Field equipment Next Sled, Chutes, Dummies/half dummies what ever you can use, hand shields
Game day stuff after that TV TV Stand(found a large dolly with wall mount makes a great pedestal for TV) IPADs (easily most useful thing for us this year-used them to record watch playback on sideline even for JV games just take Ipad instead of whole TV set up) Hook up from Ipad to HDMI cord for TV Cameras(wide and Tight view) case for Ipad with Lense for zoom Hudl Sideline Endzone Camera
Extra stuff Glazier Clinics subscription Hudl Subscription(most schools have now) invest in Quarterback academy DVD's R4, C4,....anything they got they are all great Heads up Certification Never been a member of X's and O's lab but would like to look at their stuff Ice Machine Ice tub Jugs Machine pop up nets and thrash cans....great targets or barriers for quarterbacks(Also like trash cans when walking through plays with no pads, dummy holders always seem to start playing)
outside of that, most booster clubs like for folks to see what they are doing....
set up a spot for them to shoot off fire works when you score a big run through they can point at and say we did that "school" shirts for kids with boosters names on back
if you have a grass field, maybe a new paint machine bigger and badder, extra paint to do endzones or midfield logo Meals for team camps/ 7 on 7's during the summer Take kids to a College football game one saturday
I may be getting carried away....

We have a mower, we have an old tractor that usually takes 3 or 4 days to get running every time we need to spray the field, or put out fertilizer or whatever.

KR is old school. Doesn't give the green light to much, which is a good thing.

1. Sideline instant replay- We didn't have success with hudl so switched back to skycoach. whatever works for you 2. Hydration system www.bsnsports.com/powered-team-drinkerThis way you don't have to waste time worrying about filling up water jugs. Fill it up at the beginning of practice, maybe halfway through if its hot and you are done. 3. Tackling rings or a shadow man. With our state having rules on contact, any way to practice tackling without hitting each other is a good thing. 4. Personally I say an alternate jersey. In our day in age kids like this stuff. many programs, especially if you are dealing with low numbers need to find a way to get kids excited about the program. With today's kids, uniforms do that. We had the best season in school history, 1 play away from state semis and our numbers didn't increase at all. In my opinion, if you are building or rebuilding a program this is something you need to do to get kids excited. 5. Also if they could go out and find me a kid like Michael Oher and have him enroll that would be great too, lol

I'd like to ask why it didn't work for you? We had a lot of trouble with the connection. Plays were missing (on the phone we filmed from, but didnt upload) . Sideline view and endzone view were sometimes out of sync. Some times we'd set it up before the game and everything was fine and then when the game started is wouldn't work. Also had a lot of trouble with the picture being washed out (very white) depending on the where we were on the field. We had it for 5 weeks and it seemed like a different issue every week, no matter if we were home or away. I know a lot of people who had success with it including a school a few miles away. it just didn't work for us. They provided good support and service and worked hard to try to help us, i just got tired of spending time on the phone with them and having to ask other coaches for their copy of the film because their was issues with ours. Ended up sending back stuff and getting a refund. I've never had an issue with skycoach in 18 games (1 and a half seasons), but we don't use endzone view with skycoach. It is a little more cumbersome because you have to have a laptop and a wifi extender on the sideline, but it works for us.

It is a little more cumbersome because you have to have a laptop and a wifi extender on the sideline, but it works for us. We had this happen one time all season for an 8th grade game. Called hudl and they told us the process to get it back, basically we would connect both devices and they would go in and find out where it went so that they can go back and pull it out. Of the 16+ games it did happen once. One of the reasons we started recording with a second device and a wider view, the hudl recording would be tight so we could see everything, but safeties and such would be cut off, the other was a wider view, and then our endzone view. Trying to get the dual replay for next year for endzone and sideline view.

Thats what I do for ball security and catching drills. Much cheaper and still same size and shape. Obviously dont want qbs to use them.

One of the best things we ever bought was a Speed Queen triple loader commercial washer and dryer set. Could wash the whole teams game or practice gear in a couple loads.

What about that place just down the road from you, is there anything there that you want that the booster club could buy?
