Do any of your states require play clocks on the field like colleges? We don't so I'm curious.

Not ours. A few schools have them and the number who do is increasing, but they are still the minority. It's mostly bigger and wealthier schools who have one up.

We have them, and thank God we do, You can not convince me that every referee is consistent with the 25 second clock.
We went the entire season with arm up at 10 seconds, chop at 5. Until the last week when they skipped the 10 and only chopped. That killed our QB, made him feel really rushed. And it often felt like a 20 second play clock.

Minnesota does not require play clocks at high school games.

Our state does not and if they did not sure we would ever be compliant with our budget and location of our facility and some other logistics. With that stated my previous school had them and the reason we did was we built a new stadium with turf and they ended up going in just in case they were ever required. Even after we got them we never used them.

our state tried to require it several years ago, said you had to have it in 3 or 4 years when they passed it, most schools got it, but there are a few that still don't, when our school started football I tried to tell them to make the plan for the clocks and do the electrical work for them, then when some money would come up it would be easy, they did not, eventually the state will make good on their threat
