very helpful link. Two questions it brings up... 1) Kid had CTE / brain trauma which likely lead to his physiological depression. The appropriate response to avoid his suicide would be to treat the depression, right? I assume there is nothing that can be done to reverse the damage to his brain at that point. 2) How did the kid get such brain trauma? What would make him, as it seems, such an outlier? This should lead to more investigation of his football experience.

Agree Brophy. I don't want to discount his condition and say football didn't have a major role, but wonder if he had been concussed in his youth career? Similar to Tyler Sash, it makes you wonder what these guys specifically experienced to have such advanced CTE at their young age. Hopefully we have made the game safer now for kids with the protocols we have in place.
