I am looking to get my first head coaching job soon. It will be an AD/Hd football coach. I am wanting to put together a year round plan. Does anyone have something like this so I have a place to start? Thanks

You'll probably need to be more specific about your general location. Offseason rules vary a lot from state to state and that would affect your schedule.

in NJ, no football related activities until 2 weeks after the last spring sport is played. (you can lift and stuff, that is in. No walking through plays, etc.)

You can be like Southern California and have passing tournaments in April... No wonder Me and my players are gassed right now.

I am inTexas. We start our football practices the first week in August. We can do pretty much whatever we want during the athletic period during school. After school is only for the sport in season

After school is only for the sport in season If you want to work on speed development after school then everyone is running track. There is no defined start date for track. Same goes for power-lifting. During the summer you get 6 weeks of speed and strength camp. No football, just lifting and running / agilities.

I think it provides a good starting point for you.

You are absolutely right! Definitely changing the off season this year. I'm just afraid of perception and if our guys would feel like we're not keeping up with the jonses. Fortunately for us we're still in season.
