Oh Christ. Get off the high horse man. It's a jersey. Are you the coach on the other sideline that snitches on a 15 year old for only having one pink arm sleeve on because the rule book says you must wear two?
It's also a rule and even though "It's a jersey" there's a reason for it.
Do you always practice situational ethics? Where's the line?
How would you react if one of your players decided he didn't like you being "anal" about one of your practice or training rules and chose to ignore it?
Climbing down now.
Wait, in your life you practice 0% situational ethics? I find that extremely hard to believe but if you don't, can I fly you in for a seminar?

I'm afraid that would be a waste of both our time.
Believe what you will. Just don't judge me by your personal standards.
In 2012 we won an attendance contest sponsored by local Indoor team and received a free set of home jerseys the night before playoff game.
Problem is according to NFHS they were illegal due to some inserts that were in them erroneously despite the fact I had given the Indoor team's owner a sample jersey to replicate.
Could have worn them out for Pre-Game to see if some "anal...d bag of a ref" would call us on it.
Instead chose to explain to team why we couldn't wear them and went with our "old" ones.

I am actually 100% in favor of reforming these uniform rules. I don't really see how there can be more rules for unifroms than there are for protective gear.

I think grey is considered the "dark" jersey per NFHS so you'd need still need "white" jerseys. I've worn it away. Guess it matters how anal some d bag ref is. I love coaches like you... you usually make yourself known in pregame. That way, while remaining professional, we can give you the level of respect that you deserve.

That's 5 years as a head coach and 14 total coaching football.

I'm glad to hear that you can hide your contempt on the field.

No, I'm a coach who doesn't want to lose a player or draw a penalty because a 15 year old has one pink arm sleeve because the rule book says that you must wear two. Ok , I'm dumb, when did it say u need 2 arm Sleeves?

Dumb question....if they should be washed before wearing why don't they wash them then ship them from the company? Affects the bottom line.

I have Oxycleaned the crap out of these. So I am gathering that I needed to soak these thing the night of the game, then wash them after 24 hours? I was literally spraying shout on the jerseys and pants as the kids were taking them off in the lockerroom. I then washed them the next day. It says not to use bleach on them, and there is a sublimated maroon feather design on the side of the pants so I don't want to ruin that. Yep. We have two uni sets: Red and White tops and bottoms. When we play on turf we can wear wither red or white pants. When we play on grass we ONLY wear red pants. Presoak the night of the game. For us we soak Friday through Sunday morning, start washing Sunday. Soap and oxy if we have it.

I just knew the "d-bag ref" comment would get someone by the short n fuzzies. lmao!!!! I used to be the sideline guy that would sit and yell and yell and yell at all the stripes about everything. late hit, holding, PI, blah blah blah blah... figured out(with age and time at a horrrrrrriiiiibbbblllllleeee program, with an ancient crew almost weekly) its a total waste of time. 1-they are not listening, at least not to all the ignorant comments 2-they are listening to the ignorant comments only 3-sideline warnings/flags accure quickly 4-they will have your game again in a few weeks and will be the white hat 5-they will throw a PI flag either off or def that may cost you a TD, either way---judgement call---lol 6-oh,,,another sideline flag, sorry coach youve been ejected. 7-they never ever forget the "d-bag" coach that yells constantly/says he can score a 70 on the offical rules test too(one of my coaches actually said that, I freaking flipped on him) 8 and finally-its so much easier to kill em with kindness and coach your kids instead of yelling at the refs, who in turn will give you just a bit of respect and it may come back on you later in the year, that "hey, that guys team is bad, but man hes a good dude and coaches his butt off and never, ever gives us any grief".
love this site. lmao
