I am a freshman communications major at a university; and I received the opportunity to learn how to operate a zip line camera on friday nights (and I think intern throughout the week (presumably doing journalism or communications). This is a large school in the toughest classification in our state. I want to hear from your minds - what etiquette and protocol should I follow? I know almost nothing about the high school, and have no prior connections. I want to be a positive presence and stay within my box and being the best at what i do. With that being said, I'm sure there are thoughts and advice that is running through your minds as to what would be good and bad for me to do. So basically - impart your coaching wisdom upon me please!

Well first step is just to ask. That's usually a pretty well received question.

Ask the staff what they are expecting of you.
