So today we have a short practice due to a fundraiser. We are dividing up our JV kids through a draft and going to have an O vs. D competition to get them competing, to get a look at our kids, and just to have fun.
We throw the ball quite a bit due to personnel this year. All the linemen are about equal so I am. not worried there. My question is, would you guys take the stud receiver or QB first? Backup QB is adequate, and the other receivers are average, but not 6'3.

I took the receiver. Other coach took my #1 QB.
Backup QB lit it up because he was surrounded by dudes. QB 1 threw 3 picks and zero completions. Was rough but the kids had fun and we got to see some guys step up and compete who haven't been. I'd call it a success.
