I am watching Wrightstown vs Mayville in the D4 WI finals tonight and on Mayville's 2nd TD the ref blew it. The reciever was in the endzone, and came back to the ball 1-2 yards out of the endzone. He made the catch and was immediately knocked out of bounds at the 1-2 yardline. The official immediately signaled TD. You could plainly see he crossed in front of the pylon.
Anyone have a different take on this? Anyone had this happen before?

Sounds to me like the ref needs his eyes checked, but what do I know? lol

I saw it...I have no idea what he was thinking. The player was never even in the endzone. The ball was caught at a solid 1 yard from the goaline.
That ref has a lot of explaining to do cause he had no business calling that a TD.
There are bad calls...and then there are calls you wonder whether the ref favors one team.
