I did keto hybrid plan last year with a movement plan (not hard workout- just riding bike, walking, golfing...anything active three times a day preferably before meals) last year for a while and lost 40 lbs from January to June. Over summer I got off of it and gained 10lbs back. I have cleaned things back up since being back to school. The thing that I benefited the most from was improvement in sleep quality. I typically hadn't been able to get through the night without waking up 8-10 times. After starting this plan only woke up once or twice. It's definitely worth a shot if you are looking to change up eating habits. The draw backs were that you only ate 3 meals a day and delayed the first one. There's definitely been a sleep improvement! I really have ignored any set meal plans, either ingredients or times. I keep my macros about where they should, and eat when Im able. Sometimes I eat breakfast, sometimes at 6 am before I leave the house, and sometimes I'm not hungry, and coffee more than tides me over til lunch. I realize I might not be optimizing what I'm doing, BUT I feel awesome, and I see results. I'm happy with slow, long-term results. Im in this for the long haul, I have no need to rush anything. That's pretty awesome. I hope my message didn't sound like I was trying to persuade any change to you specifically. I definitely thought what you said was right on the money. I also wanted to point out the improved sleep quality that I had.

Absolutely man. Diets are a fad that only last a few weeks. Lifestyle change is the way to go, and it sounds like that is what you have done. Kudos to you brother!
