The 3 or so different ways they play the zone read to mess with the QB reads (that was great stuff). He also showed how they did their defensive drill circuit. It was fantastic. I think circuits are great and theirs was excellent. So, even he went through some technical stuff his talk included some valuable tips to take home. Tell me how they play zone read. What does their defensive drill circuit entail?

Not to sidetrack the thread, but I've been coaching for a while, certainly not as long as some on this board, and not only do I not know what a 2 Jet protection is, but this is the first time I've ever seen or heard the term... Must be one of those fancy passing terms wing-t dinosaurs like myself have never heard either I used my Google machine and according to a Redskins fan site I found it looks like a half slide protection, but it was drawn against air so it's hard to be sure.

A young 13 year veteran coach here and I've never heard of "Jet" except in the context of "Jet Sweep" and "Jet" as a call at one place for the DE to just pass rush from an extra wide alignment. Is this something where you have to get Mobile Surface to Air Missiles to stop the DEs from flying a Jet at your QB? Regardless, I actually do want to learn what a "Jet Protection" is... I assume a drive concept is a shallow crossing route with a deeper drag / dig crossing route?

Both are WCO terminology.
"2-3 Jet" is Half Slide protection weak with FB filling for MIKE or SAM.
"Drive" concept has FL running Shallow Cross route, TE Dig (Square In), SE Streak, HB (usually to TE side) Flat.
