Hey guys,
Just thinking it would be interesting to hear who the best person you've heard speak at a clinic in the past couple years (meaning that there is still a possibility that we could see them out speaking and witness it for ourselves).
Here is mine:
Darrell Hazell- wide receivers and assistant head coach at Ohio state- I learned more about WR's in 10 minutes then in 11 years as a coach. I've went to clinics every year and that was one of the most engaging and informative session that I've had. This man is sharp and I'm guessing he will be a name everyone knows before too long.
Keep in mind I am a Michigander and saying this could be dangerous. Although I am a Michigan State fan so I'm not as worried as if I was a Wolverine fan.

Lyle Lansdell for me. Learned a lot about quarterback play and bought his program The Complete Quarterback. Great program. Also heard him speak about game day communication, program philosophy, team unity, and program organization. Only planned on hearing him talk for 2 sessions at a clinic a couple of years ago, but ended up at every session of his for 2 days of a 3 day clinic.

Blaise Winter (Former NFL D-lineman) and a NFL consultant. Guy is a motivational speaker and great talking about the Dline. He's more then willing to take the time to talk to anyone, I'm a huge fan of his.

mike emendorfer (univ wisconsins plattville) is EXCELLENT. sat in on all his sessions on a saturday clinic. he runs the spread no-huddle and answrewd many of the questions i had. also gave out alot of material and he breask down his stuff into fragments, making it easier to learn and much easier to teach your kids.

Emendorfer is another good one. The guy will talk with you "forever" about offense in person or over the phone. Another guy if you are ever looking to talk offensive football is Paul Hefty at Luther College. Great mind, and will talk with anyone.

I don't know if Buck Nystrom is in the circuit anymore, but he is the best I have ever seen. If you sat in the front row or in the isle of the presentation there was a 99% chance that you were going to be a human blocking dummy for one of his punch or blocking drills.

Blaise Winter is the same way, you will also be a blocking dummy, it's great stuff!

Blaise Winter is HANDS DOWN the best I have heard put aside X's and O's the best. I also like Chuck Martin head coach at Grand Valley State University. But man Blaise can talk I would pay for him to come up for one day to talk to my kids and he will.

Craig Bohl is excellent! I would agree that Lyle Lansdell is a great speaker as well. Jerry Campbell goes above and beyond and will help you in any way he can. If you can, see Coach Dobson from the University of South Dakota. He is a great resource for DB and WR play!

The late Duffy Daugherty. Just from a story telling standpoint
Stoic Tom Landry was really funny, too!
From X's and O's Too many to choose. There are some coaches who could run major corporations.
Got to hear Charlie McBride (DC from Nebraska) and he was very no-nonsense and got to the point.

Tom Herman If you coach o-line in the wing-t he is the guy to see. If you coach the o-line in any other O he is still worth the price of admission. Talk about passion and energy

Matt Pawlowski - Defensive Coordinator at Grand Valley State. If you run the under front, you need to see this guy talk!

Gus Malzahn. I'm a run oriented guy, but I still ate it up. He's dry, so be prepared.
Another one I haven't heard anything about is ... damnit (name has skipped me) ... the offensive line coach at Texas Tech? GREAT STUFF! It was by far the best presentation I've been to.

Glen McNew--Morgantown HS (WV), retired. Won AAA (biggest class) State Championship several times. The guy is an encyclopedia on the Wing T. He knows it all from old school Wing T to running the Wing T from the Shotgun (Shot Wing). He is scheduled to speak at several MegaClinics this winter. His room fills up quickly. He doesn't try to be the inspirational speaker that some are but he will educate you on the Wing T. He'll spend hours with you on the phone and is available to travel to your school. I think he went down to a HS in NC this week.
