So if I am right Saban and Meyer have won I believe like 7 out of the past 10 or 11 national championships...
So if you are a betting man this year and you have $100 dollars do you bet Saban/Meyer in 2016... or the field??

Field...
Reason being that the SEC is extremely competitive (several top programs) while the BIg 10/13 or however many teams they have often is dry and Ohio State teams including ones under Meyer always have a hick-up or two that they have to squeek out and sometimes bites them i.e. MSU in 2015.

I'll take Saban/Meyer but feel this is not as good a bet as it was last year.

Saban/Meyer since there's a playoff now. Without a playoff, I'd take the field.

Crazy successful places and coaches
This year id say the field Just because both teams are losing SO many dudes to the draft
They're NFL factories that will keep making all Americans but still, they each lost a lot and will be younger in a lot of areas
Ohio state had something like 22 dudes declare for the draft, and they expect roughly 15-16 of them to get drafted
They're not replacing so so players

The field. I don't know Bama's situation totally, but OSU is replacing quite a bit on both lines, major portions of the secondary and WRs, 2/3's of the LBs, and finally that guy Zeke.

I go w/ Saban - Meyer b/c it just seems like guys like that are not effected by certain circumstances like other guys are.
I say that b/c if memory serves Meyer won it a couple years back w/ his 3rd string QB.
They just seem to get it done IMO.
