Our state (CA) is going no helmets this summer. We can still do 7 on 7 though.
Any coach who has no helmets, do you still do 7 on 7? Dont you think this is more dangerous?

We do a 6 on 6 league every year(because we play sixman football) and have never worn helmets. Do have mouth pieces though.
Down here in TX i dont think ive ever seen helmets being worn. Truth be told, dont think we're allowed too.
Seen a few collisions, but nothing too severe!

We've done 7 on 7 without helmets in the past without any injuries. Injuries can/will happen no matter what you do to try and prevent them.

We dont wear helmets in FL. The state association doesn't "allow" 7-on-7 in the offseason. Everything we do is legally through the local Police Athletic League.

We've never worn helmets, but we do wear mouthpieces. We do not let anyone crossing patterns in the middle.

Get some team visors
Edit: But seriously, we get to wear helmets. Has pros and cons. You always run into someone trying to be a hero that is lighting people up. Most places do a good job of getting those kids out.

We wore helmets in Louisiana. Interesting that with all the talk of "safety", they would do such a thing.

We've always done no helmets because our section didn't allow it. The only time we've worn helmets previously is at a team camp. The players don't stick their heads in or lead with their heads. We do require our players to wear mouthpieces.
