So after reading some of the posts below on a variety of subjects I got to wondering about a few things.
What is your pre-season routine/schedule/limitations? We begin conditioning workouts in July till August 14 then we have two weeks of full pad practices (two/three a days). IN our cond, workouts we are allowed to wear helmets and use some bags so basically it's practice in helmets for a month.
When you start pads are there limits on how many practices a day you can have? Does anyone have to go like the NCAA and go 2-1-2....? we have no limit on that and have 2 full practices a day for two weeks, often with a third special teams helmets session.
When do you guys watch your game film? We wait untill the next day just so we can relax after the game and not get to suicidal that night if we watch the film.

We have conditioning M-W-F beginning next week until practice starts (August 7) with the exception of when we are at two three-day camps in July. We can use helmets only at 7-on-7s (seven days allowed) or at camps.
In Michigan the first three days of practice must be helmets only. There are no limitations on how many practices a day you hold.
We have two weeks of two-a-days. The first game is played the third week.
We watch video from 5-7 pm Sunday. This gives me time to review the game and "debrief" on Saturday, do the film exchange, and get to work on next week's opponent (coaches meet prior to players viewing video).

Nebraska- Summer conditioning allowed from June 1- July 31. Full gear/contact allowed at camps on college campuses (or sponsored by a third party). No limit on number (though it would be pricey). Practice 3 weeks before first game (Sept. 1)... if a team plays week 0 (last Fri. in Aug.) they may practice early- as can their week 1 opponent. No outside scrimmages allowed (can only scrimmage with your own team-may not go against an opponent).
We start conditioning when we can- go 4 days a week (M-Th), go to a team camp and have a 2 week no-contact camp here (which you can have for 20 days).
