Coach is putting me in charge of getting players' gear this year. Last year we set up a flash store through a vendor and it went really well. I think I would like to do the same this year, but shop around to see what other vendors offer. We aren't really overly concerned with fundraising off of our sales as much as getting the kids in good looking gear for a good price. Where do you order your team gear from?

Does your school have a brand? That can make life easier and can generate some buzz.

We do not, and getting the entire athletic department and administration on board for something like that is a little more than I would like to undertake at this point.

Yes they do. I contacted them about it. The only down side is you can only put up to 8 items in that type of store. The good news is they can order it online, have it shipped to their house and you never have to deal with anything. I've done a fair amount of research on prices and the graphic edge has been very competitive on all things and typically the best price depending on what you're looking for. I don't think I will end up using them for our team gear though because our local sales rep is setting us up with something similar and is getting us comparable prices. I think it's important to take care of your locals if you can and they aren't ripping you off. However, I do believe I will order practice jerseys from them because no one around here has beaten the graphic edge price.

BSN Sports offers something similar to the Flash Store. You might find out who your local rep is get in touch with him.

We do all of our stuff through our local sporting goods store. All of the clothing is Russell, and the football gear is usually Under Armour.
The kids get a discounted price and the staff gets free gear because of it.

We used BSN this year and we will not be using them again.. Quality and very good prices. Customer service.. Not so much! I say that to say this. If you do choose a bigger named place get some references of other schools using their services to see how they like it. Our Rep was new and it showed. Ordered some Polos for kids that couldn't afford them on the first day of practice (Aug 1st.) We finally got them the first week in Nov. We are currently looking at options as well.
