has anyone had any problems with the site? I have been a member before but I cancel the subscription during the season, now I am trying to sign up again and I get a message about the security certificate or something like that... always a little sketchy when you see something about security right before you put in a credit card number. so my question is if anyone else is having similar issues or has had any reason to be worried about registering. Thanks

It generally means that they haven't renewed their subscription w/ their security certificate authority. Every web site that wants to guarantee a secure connection between themselves and a given end-user must purchase a public key certificate from a valid certificate authority, which is a third-party entity. They're a subscription-based service, and the certificate is usually good for two years. It's the difference between going to a site that has an http connection, which is unsecured, and an https connection, which is secured.
Bottom-line, if you have a subscription w/ them that requires you to give them your credit card info, don't do so until they renew their certificate subscription. I would send an e-mail to their team reminding them about the expiration of their security certificate.

On the bottom of the Contact Us page that you were on, there's a link to a Contact page. It's different from the Contact Us page, and you'll be able to submit your e-mail there.
Their site is a mess. I was just browsing around it, and it looks like they built it on one of those web-site building web sites, and they didn't really test it before launch. The pages are mislabeled, there are missing links, and security certificate is in default. You might consider calling them and giving them your credit card (CC) directly. I would also make certain that they're not storing your CC info. They seem like one of those sites that would be a prime target for anyone looking to steal identity info.
