This clinic season has been great! I have filled in the holes and can't wait to get going. However, one last question(s) remains...sort of.
#1) A game card that you swear by. The arrangement and contents have elevated you in confidence and sustained you through presentation/layout.
#2) A procedure for calling plays. We start by developing 30 plays that are guarantees. We list them on a board. We each have a board and we go crazy. From there we break those 30 or so plays in to 3rd down short, med., and long. Then from the 30 or so, we spill the remainder, plus a few more from the previus week, into our 1st and 2nd half script. From the script, I extract our 1st and 2nd down calls in sort of a rhythm. Last, We basically carry with us the same 2pt., big play, game-winners, and specials from week to week. That is us in a nut-shell.
This is going to be a great year, and this item was the last component of our offense that I didn't get critiqued and scrutinized. I want to leave no rock unturned as we get ready for our march into battle.
Please, I look forward to your responses.
Humbly,
Coach Davis

We lay our game plan out very simular to what you do. We develop a list of 15 plays that we can utilize a maximum number of formations to run on our first few series to see how the defense will align with our multiple formations we use each night. This allows us to see if we guessed right on how they are trying to defend us or not. We are all oneback and very rarely do we get to see our opponets defense align vs 3 and 4 receiver sets, 2 TE, 2 WR sets, etc...
