Question, which one would you prefer?
in GA coaches have an option, you can have Spring Football 13 Days to do 10 practices (No Spring Game vs another school)
or you can forgo spring football and have 2 scrimmages instead of one in the fall.
If no spring you can only work with 2 kids max per coach with a ball until school is out.
So would you rather have spring or 2 scrimmages? Thoughts?

Being in at a small school in georgia I prefer 2 scrimmages. Half my team is playing baseball or track. Now if I was at a large school with 100+ players...missing a few to baseball and track might not be a big deal.

When I was first starting out, I was gung ho for Spring Ball. Now I honestly wish we could skip Spring and get to put on pads a week earlier in the Summer with 2 scrimmages. Track is winding down and Baseball is getting late into district. I'd rather just not have Spring Ball. With all the hoops they make you jump through with SLTs, PLCs, and test scores (classroom stuff) it wears me out.

If those are the options - I'll take a pair of scrimmages.
Love the Florida spring ball though.

20 days of activities with one (or two) of those days being your spring contest(s). Here are your game options: Option 1: 4 Quarters vs. Team B Option 2: Spring Jamboree where you play like a half vs. Team B and like a half vs. Team C Option 3: Participate in a game where the refs are there to train/refresh themselves of the rules Option 4: Choose either Option 1 or 2 as well as Option 3. And then of course some just scrimmage themselves like the college fellas do.

In Texas we can go no pads with a football all spring. That being the case, I'd rather do football all spring with an uncapped number of "skill days" with a football than just one extra scrimmage. Given your scenario, I'd go an extra scrimmage for sure.
