I'll openly admit that I wear a visor because of Spurrier and now Malzahn. Plus I look much better in the visor with my hair perfectly pushed over the top just slightly. When it rains, I look damn fine.

When I was in college "the visor" hung 80 pts. on us when he was at Florida. Jay Leno clowned us on national TV. We got a $325,000 check for our troubles. But our season was never the same after that game.

i make fun of people who wear a visor, the same way i make fun of my younger players who wear the same gloves as a specific receiver in the NFL.

I am a hardnose run guy by nature. My HC played WR in the NFL so he brings a ton to the passing game that I will never be able to do. I came up with a pass wrinkle last week and I said if it worked I would wear a visor. We scored. So now instead of my large typical oline hat that I wear, I have to wear a visor.

I once saw an opposing teams coach wear a visor backwards and upside down.

I once saw an opposing teams coach wear a visor backwards and upside down. It was probably me. Lol. I wear my visor straight during the game but during warm ups, stretching, halftime my visor is however I feel like wearing it lol

I rock a visor with ray bans when I call Freshman games, sometimes backwards or even upside down and backwards during warm ups. But, its mostly to be ironic because we're 88% run so far this year.

After reading some of these replies, I know for a fact some of the older, ground and pound, wing-t, double wing, and pro I coaches are cringing! Especially the one's that make fun of a coach for wearing a visor.
I don't wear a visor, but don't see anything wrong with it either.

No guys-
You know what's worse?
Coach wearing backpacks during the game and on their cell phone during pre-game...

I just think they are more comfortable than hats. Of course I wear a giant bucket hat I got @ Rainforest Cafe at our practices, so I think I waved bye-bye to caring about what people think of my hat a long time ago!

I love the backpack guys. WTF are you carrying around in there? I've thought about Sark'ing and wearing a camel pouch of whiskey/soda once we're getting running clocked.

Visors stink!!! Burns my head!!! Nope, it isn't the Visor that is the problem it is the fact that I can't grow hair on the top of my head that is! I guess I will have to continue run the double wing and make fun of guys who wear Visors (also known as men who still have hair)!

I'll put it near his (or take it up to the box with me if I decide to call the game from the box), not mixed in with the kid's bags if they travel with them, but not far away because I know I'll forget it if I leave it too far. The guys who wear them all game do look goofy.

I don't know about visors or not but we played a team with a coach wore a neon tank top and weight lifting shoes and yelled like everyone in the stadium was wearing ear plugs. I laughed and called him a doucher and moved on with my life.

I wear a bucket hat during practice because I don't want the reverse racoon eyes. During games I break out the visor. Push the hair up so it looks crazy and get on with my happy self. I love the feeling I get when we send in our Heavy package and the other team's coach is screaming at the top of his lungs "it's coming up the middle". Then we run it up the middle and score or get a first down or 2 point conversion or whatever situation calls for our bull dozers.

Just as a thought... Any DCs out there were a visor? Or is this a strictly OC HC thing?

Just as a thought... Any DCs out there were a visor? Or is this a strictly OC HC thing? I've known a few. But, they've all been guys who looked weird in hats because their head was small or oddly shaped. The visor is pretty stereotypical of offensive minded coaches.

I wear a visor every once in awhile, but it's honestly mostly to piss my wife off. She hates they way I look in a visor. I have to admit my hair gets a little mushroomy.

I'm a defensive guy and I wear a visor to practice. It's Florida. It's hot. A hat holds all the heat in, no hat = skin cancer. At the game I wear a hat because the headsets are weird without one.

My backpack has a two cans of snuff. Bag of sunflower seeds, Wallet, Cell phone, Ipad, Play sheet, extra wrist coaches and dry erase markers... One thing I learned along time ago. Driving a Bus @ 55 mph on a Interstate for 2+ hours can be mind numbing.. Got to have my Chew and backup!! Ohh almost forgot.. A Mnt Dew! But... I do not wear it during the game!!! I move around way to much. I always like the guys with White sunglasses and match head to toe... My pumpkin head will not fit in a visor. The velcro isn't long enough. Couple that with a receding hair line it just a big no no. Just give me a flex fit hat!

I always have a backpack with me: Sweatshirt, keys, wallet, phone, backup sunglasses (I've had some break at a game), notebook, backup callsheet, backup wrist coach. But I don't wear it. It sits on the bench
