Does anyone have a mock email they send out to the teaching staff at the start of the school year inviting them to come to games and be a positive influence on the team. I am a first year HC that has taken over a program that has struggled recently. I need to make a positive impression on the teaching staff in order to gain their trust and support.
Thanks in advance for the reply's.
Thanks,

If you have the time, try speaking to each of them personally. Invite them to the game, and give each a small item if you have it (bumper sticker, whatever). Make sure that they know you have their support in the classroom, and grades are a priority for your program. Check with your AD and see if district employees and their families get in free to games (most districts do), and mention that. The ones who are super excited, invite them to practice, let them see what its all about.

There was a baseball coach at the school I coach at a few years ago that had a staff appreciation night. All teachers who showed up got a gift bag of some sort....never saw any of them again.
